ABOUT THIS EVENT:
During this lecture series, we plan to examine our school division's roots and look toward our future. Bishop Murray Chatlain (shown right), Bishop of the Mackenzie-Fort Smith diocese in the Northwest Territories, will deliver the series' first lecture: Born in a Basement. Bishop Chatlain, who received his Kindergarten to Grade 12 education in Saskatoon's Catholic schools, will take us on a journey from the early days of our school division - three classrooms in the basement of a church in 1911 - to where we are today: 45 schools in four communities.
