June 2014

Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools recently amalgamated with Warman's new Catholic school division. Families who wish to access Catholic education can now send their children to Catholic schools in Saskatoon. Learn more here.

 

Budget includes funds for projected enrolment increase

June 2014

Trustees have passed the division's 2015-2016 operating and capital budget. It includes an additional $830,000 to support students with special needs and nearly $2 million to help serve the division's projected enrolment growth. Read more about the budget in this news release.

 

Warman amalgamation one highlight of trustees' year

Designing Saskatchewan's new schools

Oskayak High School recognized for innovation

February 2014

For the second time in two years, one of our schools is recognized by the Canadian Education Association (CEA) for innovation. Oskayak High School earned an honourable mention for how it has blended 21st century learning with traditional aboriginal teachings. Fortosky named one of Canada's outstanding principals

Extreme weather transportation policies

Nearly $25,000 raised for the Philippines

French Immersion program added at Mother Teresa

December 2013

A new French Immersion program will serve families in northeast Saskatoon. Kindergarten to Grade 4 French Immersion will be available at Mother Teresa starting in fall 2014. Learn more in this news release.

New schools announced for Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools

October 2013

The Government of Saskatchewan has announced it will build nine new joint-use schools, including five in our school division - in the Saskatoon neighbourhoods of Evergreen, Hampton Village, Rosewood and Stonebridge. A GSCS school will also be built in Martensville. Read the government news release here.

Parent/Caregiver access to student information

 

In September 2014, we began implementing a new student information system.

Parent access to our old system for attendance and grades is no longer available.
